Verdict

Wild Desert has ability but is hard to predict. COOL BARANCA is more straightforward and dotted up at Perth on Thursday. Dianne Sayer's mare stays this longer trip and must have every chance of defying her penalty, though Danvilla is fit from the Flat and still has a bit of scope over hurdles. Marmas won over track and trip in July but was then well beaten at Bangor and Monkey Milan and Elsafeer are returning from lengthy breaks. Galley Slave and Phoenix Eye both race from a long way out of the handicap.
