In depth

Verdict

Granite Man gets the confident vote here with Gabor and Lankawi rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Dr Curullo and although rising in the weights he again has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicaper. Gabor rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Munaawesh but this looks tougher and his penalty may just find him out. Lankawi is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Speed Venture but he looks high enough in the weights and may just need the run after a 217 day abscence. Of the remainder Wise Tale looks on a handy mark but is hard to win with and for the winner we return to Granite Man.
