Verdict

This is a trial for the valuable Summer Plate to be run here in a couple of weeks time. Francky Du Berlais won the big race last year and is being prepared for another bid. Northern Bound should be approaching peak fitness after a spring break with a similar comment applying to Jemima P. Nico de Boinville has chosen Ile De Jersey over the disappointing Bothwell Bridge as she has been lightly raced over fences so far but AND THE NEW is receiving lumps of weight from his rivals. The 12-year-old was a wide-margin winner here two runs ago and didn’t appreciate going left-handed at Cartmel subsequently.
