Verdict

Inigo carries a penalty for winning on the all-weather in France in December but is still preferred to the stable’s newcomer Poncho. INGENNIO made a promising start when third at Huntingdon and, with Brian Hughes taking over the reins, can build on that experience. The Flat-bred Cavalon could be interesting but cost only 6,000gns. Admiral Horatio is more stoutly bred and there is plenty of stamina in the pedigree of Tommy's Fortune but he did finish second at Sedgefield last month. Pure Jade and Finescope are other possible improvers.
