Verdict

Atlantic Storm has become hard to place but is starting to look very well treated. Lucky Robin doesn’t run often over fences nowadays but has won three times around here and makes more appeal than the disappointing Shiroccan Roll. Heronord may well have made a winning start over fences at Taunton had he not unseated his rider three out. He’s only placed once in seven career starts, however, and these fences can be tricky for a novice. Above Suspicion never threatened at Huntingdon so this can go to GO AS YOU PLEASE, whose run at Fontwell was too bad to be true.

Above Suspicion (IRE) 10-3 (11-6) Slowly into stride, jumped left and mistakes in rear, went 4th towards finish, never any chance, 4th of 7, 32l behind Jamacho (11-5) at Huntingdon 2m hcp (4) gd in Oct.

Atlantic Storm (IRE) 12-1 (11-0) Towards rear, mistake 10th, headway 11th to go prominent, hit 2 out, soon driven and gradually faded, 7th of 8, 31 1/2l behind Cawthorne Lad (11-6) at Stratford 2m 5f hcp (4) gd in Oct.

Go As You Please (IRE) 3-1 (11-6) Never that fluent, tracked leaders, pecked at 9th, outpaced 4 out, no chance after, plugged on run-in, 4th of 5, dist behind Darebin (11-12) at Fontwell 2m 2f hcp (4) sft in Oct.
