In depth

Verdict

A competitive handicap chase here with very little between many of the leading fancies but the main protagonists look to be Montifault, Moss Harvey and Mamideos and we will take a chance on Moss Harvey. The selection was a fair third behind Bow Strada on his first run of the season. He is sure to strip fitter here and with the longer trip sure to suit he is taken to score. Montifault rates the main danger as he is ridiculously well handicapped but he was sl;ightly disappointing behind Ballyvaddy at Chepstow last time so he can not be backed with any confidence. Mamideos is another worthy of respect as he progressed through out last season and still has plenty of scope for improvement but he may just need the run after an 197 day absence. Blame The Ref was a fair second behind Batoutoftheblue last time and is another with place claims but his jumping was far from fluent on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Boy's Hurrah is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Moss Harvey.
