Verdict

AP McCoy twice teamed up successfully with David Pipe's father Martin to capture this valuable handicap and it would be no surprise to see Street Entertainer to go close, despite top weight. The four-year-old won well at the Punchestown Festival in May and is still improving. Laterly will ensure there is no hanging about here and that will suit Gloucester, who likes to finish off a fast pace. He races off a lower mark than when second in this 12 months ago. Kylenoe Fairy, Ixora and Rajnagan have all been in cracking form in lesser company, while Peter Bowen's pair Rio Gael and Heron Bay should make their presence felt and there are also possibilities about Wind Shuffle and the lightly-raced Fair Gale. CARAVEL is likely to be a big price here after folding tamely at Hexham last month but Howard Johnson's charge is better off with both Knight In Purple and Rio Gael when just behind that pair in a valuable handicap at Haydock previously and could run a big race off this mark if things go his way.
