Verdict

A race of limited betting appeal but we recommend DARKSIDEOFTHEMOON to score with Hows Trix and Jumeirah Jane on the shortlist. The selection is having his first run for Tim Vaughan having left Nick Gifford. He wasn't the most consistent of creatures but has won previously under fast ground conditions on the flat. Hows Trix is a rare Ferdy Murphy runner at this time of the year. This is a massive drop in trip as he has regularly raced over three miles. Jumeriah Jane made virtually all at Hexham before succumbing to Quivvy Bridge in the shadows of the post. That rival went on to win on Thursday evening so the form is at least proven. Vice Admiral looks moderate though hails from a shrewd yard. Parkview Love should have done better last time out and the step up in trip does not really inspire lots of confidence. Can't Remember would have claims on her win in a Sedgefield seller in April though there has little to write home about since. Obara D'Avril is modest though is at least in some semblance of form. Playersplease was useful on the flat though has not translated that ability to the winter game. Darksideofthemoon does have to defy an absence but possesses enough class to do so.
