In depth

Verdict

A drop back in trip is likely to suit MARINERS MOON, who should be approaching peak fitness and is potentially well treated. Valseur Du Granval won at Ludlow and Huntingdon in May though was pulled up here last month but Costly Diamond is interesting after a pipe-opener over timber and all three of Little Stevie’s victories over fences have come over this course and distance. Fort De L'ocean’s last win over fences came off a 2lb higher mark so he can’t be ignored.
