Bumper winner BOAGRIUS has been placed in novice hurdles recently and has an edge at the weights in this. He just missed out on good ground at Taunton last time while Royal Village was second in soft going at Southwell when returning a losing favourite. Mister Whitaker threw in a bad one at Doncaster recently having placed at the same track before that but King Julien went close at Huntingdon last year and is better than his handicap mark suggests. Cake de L'Isle is still learning and posted a better effort when placed at Southwell last month.
