Verdict

Luneray, Harrycone Lewis and Fin Bec are the only three that can be seriously considered here and the nomination is given to Luneray. The selection put up a gutsy effort when he finished second behind Fox In The Box at Chepstow over 3 miles last time out. The winner just found the edge in terms of stamina that day and now that Luneray is dropped back to a more suitable trip he is very difficult to oppose. Harrycone Lewis rates the main danger as he was a good third behind Reasonable Reserve last time at Southwell. He is dropped in trip here which should not be a problem, and if our selection does not run up to form then he could be the one to take advantage. Fin Bec is a course and distance winner who goes well on this track, but he was pulled-up when last seen out in December, and he may just need the run here after a lengthy absence from the track. The other two will have to improve to trouble the principles and for the winner we return to Luneray.
