Verdict

FIRST QUEST beat Vive Le Roi at Uttoxeter in July when last seen. The runner-up has won three times since with his latest victory at Newbury last week coming off a mark of 128 so Jim Boyle’s four-year-old could be thrown in here on 109. A switch back to hurdles should suit Comber Mill while Love Lane shaped with promise on her return to action at Hereford. Toboggan's Fire has place claims again, along with Keel Over, while Lily Of Leysbourne has suffered a couple of narrow defeats over 2m4f here this year but isn’t certain to enjoy the drop back in trip.
