In depth

Verdict

Genghis still has to conclusively prove his stamina at this trip but it looks worth taking that chance in this company. The selection was sent off a well backed favourite in a similar contest over course and distance last time only for his race to come to an end at the fifth when he unseated. His jumping has always been sound in the past and he's given the chance to atone for that mistake. Inaro battled on well at Towcester but has rarely run consecutive races alike in the past so wouldn't be one to trust implicitly whilst the consistent No Complaint will need to pull out a little more in this company. Pams Oak has more on his plate this afternoon but did win well at Southwell and is only 7lbs higher, Tickateal also has a higher mark to overcome having won well over course and distance on his penultimate start. He's still of interest from his revised mark but we fancy Genghis to put his rivals to the sword.
