Verdict

QUEBEC won a novice hurdle around here just over a year ago and looked to be on the way back when sixth at Kempton last time. The five-year-old will have had plenty of schooling over the larger obstacles and has more scope than most of this bunch. Trespassers Will didn't manage a win over timber and was pulled up when favourite at Exeter in March but he'd been fairly consistent prior to that run. Whitsundays was also pulled up last time, at Catterick, but possibly didn’t stay and shouldn't be written off just yet.
