In depth

Verdict

Gold Ingot won over a shorter trip here a month ago but Easy Street, on a hat-trick after victories at Fontwell and Uttoxeter, has the greater scope. CUT THE CORNER (NAP) hinted at a revival at Worcester last time and beat Ballybogey by 20 lengths off a higher mark at Southwell in September. Richard Newland's charge could be the value today as course and distance winner Bar De Ligne is still performing below par and Mercers Court was pulled up off his new mark at Aintree.
