Connections continue to campaign Kilcrea Vale over 3m, despite evidence suggesting he doesn’t stay. Dream Bolt has done nearly all of his racing under Rules over shorter trips and so has Tommy Silver but Uhlan Bute has to go on the short-list given he was just touched off over track and trip eight days ago and his yard is in peak form. Calipso Collonges appears to be an improving chaser but MORE BUCK’S was very impressive over 2m4f here six weeks ago and won by 21 lengths the last time he raced over 3m. He’s on a high enough mark now but a seventh chase win is still not out of the question.
