Verdict

TISTORY has won three bumpers and two hurdle races and ended last season in a Grade 1 at Aintree over timber. He was pulled up on that occasion but can make a winning start over fences and complete a quick double for his yard if everything went to plan in the opener. Hold Court has become very disappointing but winning pointer Pure Oxygen is interesting and Citizenship, poorly handicapped over hurdles at present, might be worth a second look when tackling really testing ground. Lac Sacre has been cleverly placed to win three times over hurdles this year and would have been on a par with the best of these over the smaller obstacles.
