Verdict

Buck Mulligan has won here over hurdles but has been largely looking a spent force over fences over the last 12 months. Butlergrove King was helped by calamity behind when landing a novices' handicap at Worcester two weeks ago while Jayandbee has yet to strike form since returning from a lengthy absence. KASBADALI disappointed when favourite at Exeter but is thrown in on his best form and deserves another chance in this grade. Dabinett Moon was last of three at Bangor three weeks ago but ran well for a long way and may be capable of better.
