ART MODERN, a winner over course and distance on his penultimate start can win this for the Irish yard of John Hanlon. Headgear is left off for today's outing and while he is the type that posts more poor than good efforts, he will benefit considerably from the useful 8lb claim of the very capable Conor O'Farrell. When that claim is taken into account it is hard to see Tora Petcha reversing the form. He is 4lb worse off with the riders allowance included and while hampered approaching the final obstacle when the two clashed at this venue last month, it did not appear to effect the result. Muraco has posted two abysmal efforts of late which followed two creditable outings. He didn't appear to stay 2m 4f at Fontwell on his penultimate start. Cosmic String has not recaptured his Irish form when trained by Dermot Weld but hails from a yard that do well with others cast-offs and the jockey is an eye-catching booking. Zamboozle was a long way adrift of both Art Modern and Tora Petcha last time. It is difficult to see him turning the form around and Art Modern is given the nomination.
