Verdict

SOUTER POINT ran his best race for a while when chasing home useful recruit Abergavenny at Hereford last month. The winner has scored under a penalty since so the form looks solid and AP McCoy takes over in the saddle here. Coeur De Fou won at Doncaster in March and wasn't disgraced over a longer trip at Ayr last time while The Quantum Kid got off the mark at Southwell last time and may still be on the upgrade. Flat winner General Elliott may be best of the rest.
