Verdict

Fairwood Present continues to hold his form well, despite advancing years, and was placed twice over this C&D last month. But it's a very long time since he won a race of any description and preference is for SILVER ADONIS. Richard Newland's charge showed he still had something to offer when third at Cheltenham last week having been highly tried previously. King Cyrus won at Taunton in March and was third over this trip at Exeter last month so also warrants respect.
