The winner of a maiden hurdle at Taunton in November, Jahash has struggled to follow up under penalties since but has not been beaten far and, in a poor looking contest, the Philip Hobbs-trained gelding is fancied to return to winning ways. Kali Des Obeaux, from the stable of Alan King, looks the main danger to the selection and may do better now that she returns to novice company having faced a stiff task in handicaps of late. The others seem a moderate bunch, with Henrietta Knight's The Rebel Lady, eighth behind Ar Muin Na Muice in the mares' only final at Newbury last time, and Another Copper looking the best of them.
