Verdict

Valtor doesn’t look the force of old and his stablemate Champagne Mystery has not managed to complete any of his last three starts, though improvement is possible over this longer trip. Jonjo O’Neill is also doubly represented but neither Ready And Able nor As You Like make much appeal either. Rocco is possibly better over shorter but this is an easy track. WANDRIN STAR was only beaten a head in his first run since wind surgery at Ascot in November with a subsequent outing coming in a Grade 3. he can take advantage of this drop in class to regain the winning thread. Calipso Collonges is another proven stayer so can’t be ignored but Head To The Stars has been woeful since landing this 12 months ago when a pound higher.
