Verdict

Facethepuckout won this easily on soft ground last year but is 12lb higher and could do with plenty of rain. SILVERKODE is best at this trip on quick ground and was always up with the pace over an extended 5f at Navan earlier this month following a long break. He'll be spot-on for this and gets the nod though there are plenty of dangers including Ice Cold In Alex. He's only 1lb higher than when successful at Leopardstown last August though was behind Big Baby Bull when Denis Hogan's charge landed a very tough handicap at the Curragh in June. The latter looked on the way back to form in a lucrative premier handicap at Leopardstown and would be difficult to keep out of the frame in that form. Rocket Science completed a double in testing conditions and was by no means disgraced in a Gowran Group 3 though again on heavy going.
