Verdict

This hasn't been a good race for three-year-olds but Davids Park would have a chance on his close second to Colour Blue at Killarney in May as his only subsequent start was in the Irish 2000 Guineas. Vector Force also represents the younger generation and he beat older horses in good style at Naas though he's been punished with an 8lb rise. Sabrina Harty has done very well with BREATHE EASY who was landing his fourth victory on his eighth start at the Curragh last month. There's every chance of further progress and a hat-trick beckons though Pat Smullen, who rode him last time, is claimed for Rock Critic, a useful type at this sort of level and over hurdles. Queen Of Alba bounced back to winning form at Roscommon but may struggle now on her highest ever mark. Hasanour just failed to complete his hat-trick in a similar grade event at the Curragh and, though raised again, it will be a surprise if he's not involved in the finish.
