Verdict

Hurricane Ridge and Top Man Michael are both penalised for narrowly beating the same horse, Everything Zain, on their debuts. It's impossible to separate them on that form but Habesh, in receipt of 11lb which includes his rider's claim, looks held having being beaten around nine lengths by Hurricane Ridge at Killarney. South South West was in receipt of 12lb when beating Stuccodor a head over a mile at Galway but a line through the runner-up, though tenuous, hands this to STOCKTONS WING and Charles O'Brien's charge, who has won three of his last five on the Flat, looks the one to be on.
