Riven Light won this in 2017 before running in a Group 1 at Caulfield. He was beaten a short-head in a Curragh Listed race in June but disappointed back over timber in the Galway Hurdle. Still Standing has a penalty to carry for scoring at this level at Naas in March but goes well fresh and will enjoy the conditions while Up Helly Aa has made great strides and followed her maiden victory with a very good second to Mowhawk in a Leopardstown Group 3. The latter's stable companion Tipitena ran easily her best race to date behind Goddess at Gowran and will be better suited by the ground than most but LANCASTER HOUSE may turn out to be better than these. Aidan O'Brien's colt will need to step up from his easy victories in minor company but Group entries suggest he's expected to do so.
