In depth

Verdict

Rewritetherules won under Rules at Punchestown in April and got back on track on the point-to-point course there last time having fallen at Killarney in between. Brian O’Neill rode ON THE SOD to victory at Downpatrick but gets off the nine-year-old here to partner the progressive stablemate Winged Leader. However, the claims of the former should not be underestimated given he has been running in decent company this year. Ballygrifincottage is only six and should have more to offer while Tipperary maiden winner Sliabh Mhuire Lass gets a small mares’ allowance.
