Verdict

Classy hurdler The Real Article is useful on the Flat though he only had two opponents when scoring at Killarney last time and has a penalty to carry. Dare To Doubt is rated 11lb below him over timber so with a pull of 15lb here he must be a threat on his debut under Flat Rules. Dimona scored over 1m4f on fast ground last summer and also won over 2m. He ran poorly on his final start in the Cesarewitch at the Curragh but is better than that and should go well. NOTABLE GRADUATE looked potentially very useful when beaten a short-head by Laughing in a Listed event at Leopardstown last June but finished last in the Irish Derby on his next start and was tailed off on his reappearance behind Fame And Glory at Navan. In the hope that he can recapture last year's form, he's given the nod.
