Verdict

CALIFORNIA ROSE found only one too good at Killarney last month and had Maundy Money and Mooretown Boy behind. Collateral form also gives her the beating of Vasoni and she gets the nod to go one better. Busalla has every chance off his current mark after a close-up third at Gowran last time when Dragon Khan wasn't far behind and much better is expected from Naas winner Great Ability back on his favoured testing ground. Killourney Empress has tumbled down the weights but has proved best over longer trips so far.
