In depth

Verdict

Helian ended last year with a victory over 1m2f here and is 4lb higher on his reappearance. SHIFTING GOLD finished behind the latter on that occasion but won over today’s longer trip either side of that and Bill Knight’s filly is taken to reverse running despite the worse terms. Noble Fox notched-up a frustrating run of placed efforts early in the year and will likely be in the mix once again while Nafaayes was placed over 1m5f earlier in the month but was due to run on the Turf track here yesterday.
