A wide-open handicap and most have some sort of chance. Johnny Splash has been in good form lately and Nathan Alison's claim will aid his cause stepping back up to 6f, though he could have been better drawn. ARTFUL LADY has the inside stall and the early pace to make the most of her good fortune. She won here in February and was just touched off over course and distance next time having led inside the final furlong. Though raised a further 3lb since, George Margarson's filly seems certain to be in the firing-line again. Russian Bullet is starting to knock on the door again but has shown his best form over 5f so far, though is still preferred to Pharoh Jake and Loyal Royal at the weights with Kyllachy Storm best watched on his return to action.
