In depth

Verdict

Dance To The Blues lines up in good form and can pay to follow ahead of Summer Recluse, Patternmaker and Kennington. Dance To The Blues is still looking for her first win on the all-weather in four attempts, but has been in great form on Turf of late, scoring twice and finishing a close second on two other occasions. She is still not badly treated, and can open her Polytrack account. Summer Recluse gained a couple of wins here in 2003, but his only subsequent victory came on Turf at Bath this summer. He has been consistent but needs things to fall right for him. Patternmaker had to carry topweight on his all-weather debut and did well to finish fourth, so he can improve to figure, while Kennington is closely matched with Summer Recluse on their Redcar running earlier in the season. All can play a part, but Dance to The Blues has the best credentials and can come out on top.
