        Verdict

        D'niro showed the benefit of his opening run at Doncaster in October with a very impressive victory at Kempton the following month while Fashaak didn't have much of a chance in two major sales events at Newmarket. Royal Reserve was the comfortable winner of a Salisbury maiden before well beaten when tried in Group 3 class and the Kempton maiden in which Percy's Romance finished second hasn't worked out. The latter is by Sir Percy as is Bergholt and both should do better when tried over further. Daleelak landed a Musselburgh maiden before running a shocker on soft ground at Doncaster while the form of Stylistik's second at Kempton has been let down by the winner and third. ILZAM landed a handicap at Wolverhampton before getting caught for pace in a slowly-run event over 7f here. He has no problems with the longer trip and can gain compensation.
