Verdict

A tight handicap with only 4lb separating the 10 runners on official ratings. SILKEN THOUGHTS is 5lb higher than when scoring at Newbury last month, but she wasn't disgraced off today's mark when runner-up back at the same track last time and this is easier. She gets a tentative vote ahead of the progressive Cuckney Bear, who is upped in class today and the consistent Destiny Of Dreams, who scored at Folkestone three weeks ago. King Carrick and Royal Reverie have done their winning over shorter trips, while Swift Blade's recent second came in an amateur's race.
