With the newcomers making little appeal on pedigree this is probably best left to those with racing experience and Coffs Harbour looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account so is preferred to Gala Jackpot and Jimmy The Guesser. The last mentioned is entitled to improve on his debut effort here on the turf course and has to be of interest, while Calvera showed promise on his only previous start on this surface and could be of interest in such a poor race. Cumberland Road is closely matched with Jimmy The Guesser on debut form and is another to consider although a bigger threat is likely to come from Gala Jackpot, who showed promise on his Bath debut and is bred to handle the Polytrack. Mark Wallace's Maggie Minx makes most appeal of the four newcomers but the one they all have to beat is Ed Dunlop's Coffs Harbour, who probably only needs to reproduce last time out form to win this.
