In depth

Verdict

Rainbow Beauty was due to run at Leicester yesterday but would have leading claims if turning up here instead. Amulet beat Bursledon, who runs in the first division, at Chepstow last month so punters will get an up-to-date form comparison. Laura Secord caused a big shock at Kempton in June but the form looks reasonable and she's unexposed but Welsh Sunrise hasn't been seen since making a winning debut at Wolverhampton in February. Mosman has an even longer absence to overcome but Big Whiskey and Landau were both placed last week at Kempton. CANON LAW pulled much too hard and was eased when last at Kempton earlier this month but had looked progressive when scoring at Warwick earlier and may be worth another chance.
