In depth

Verdict

King Of Charm may well upset Benandonner, with Bijli, China Cherub and newcomer Mail Express all respected. King Of Charm posted a promising debut effort when a close third to the more fancied Yellow Card and Prince Of Delphi at Folkestone, and as he should improve for the run, Gary Moore's charge is selected to go on and open his account. Benandonner was sixth in a fair maiden at Newmarket, but whether that entitles him to be a strong favourite is debatable, and he is worth taking on. Bijli hails from a stable that houses some quality animals and he has to be on the short-list, while China Cherub had to be switched on her Nottingham bow and posted a solid effort in finishing third. Mail Express will improve for the run and should be noted in the betting market, but all in all, we feel that it is worth taking a chance on King Of Charm.
