Verdict

Mbhali's best effort so far was a head defeat over 1m2f here with New Tarabela six lengths behind. The former also makes more appeal than Wildes stepping up in trip, but PATRONELLA may prove more troublesome. David Simcock's High Chaparral filly made a modest debut over a mile at Wolverhampton but middle-distances should see her in a much better light and she gets the vote. Archiebeau is bred to stay and is worth noting along with fellow newcomer and 100,000gns purchase Belfilo.
