    Verdict

Rhode Island was only fifth when favourite at Nottingham but was slowly away so shouldn’t be written off just yet. Dawn Dash was last at Leicester and may need more time while Key Player was well beaten at Brighton and a debut second here but there are a clutch of newcomers worth a market check including Rajaam, who is a half-brother to six winners and the Camelot colts Bedivere and Outlane. The latter is out of a mare who has produced winners with all of her offspring to race so far. KASSAR has a penalty but was a decisive winner over this trip at Kempton and looks an above-average recruit for the time of year.
