Verdict

Abe Lincoln made a winning start at Kempton and Turbine scored at Wolverhampton on his racecourse debut. Both may well improve past Bernie's Boy in this but the remaining trio will prove harder to beat. The progressive Race Day has a double penalty to carry but Lady Macapa makes more appeal on today's terms after running well in a Listed race at Newmarket. SPECIAL SEASON was no match for Gifted Master in the Group 3 Autumn Stakes at Headquarters last time but the drop back to his winning trip should see him go close today and the Haggas charge gets the nod.
