Trials'n Tribs gets a the narrow verdict in a wide open affair, Makarim and Coppermalt are put forward as live dangers. Charles Cyzer's three-year-old has been in very good heart of late and more improvement can be expected. The two mile trip is a slight concern as he has done all his racing over a mile and a half or less, but he has a good chance of staying the distance on pedigree and he looks the one to beat. Makarim is getting on in years but is still a consistent sort. His recent third behind Cayman Calypso has a good look about it and he should be capable of making the frame. Coppermalt returned to the flat recently following a three year absence. He wasn't beaten far a Wolverhampton last time and more improvement must be in the offing. All in all a very tricky contest and Trials 'n Tribs is a tentative choice.
