In depth

Verdict

Mam'selle made a winning start at Salisbury but disappointed on her handicap debut and steps up in distance along with Bermondsey Belle. The latter makes her handicap debut having finished closer over 1m2f here last time but THEGLASGOWWARRIOR (NAP) makes more appeal. Michael Bell’s charge has found one too good in both starts over today’s trip including a tougher race at Newmarket last time and William Buick’s presence further boosts confidence in his chances. Zorba The Greek was behind the selection last time and Bamako Du Chatelet still looks a shade high in the weights though tends to save his best for this venue.
