Verdict

It took Henley Park 15 attempts to get off the mark but he finally did so when scoring by a short-head over track and trip. Miss Sligo won a classified race over a longer distance at Kempton while CAFE SYDNEY won over 1m4f here last month. But he drops back down a grade today and Tony Carroll’s charge may be the one to side with. Marchetti slips further down the weights and steps up in distance looking for his first win and could prove best of the rest.
