In depth

Verdict

This handicap is wide open but we will give the tentative vote to Pelham Cresent with Sir Haydn and Hot Property both worth noting. The selection comes a yard in form and he also comes here running off the same mark as when winning an apprentice handicap at Wolverhampton last time out. Its true to say that he has not been the easiest horse to win with but with no penalty to carry after his latest success he looks to be one step ahead of the handicapper. Sir Haydn is well exposed in these types of races but showed signs of coming back to his best when fourth of thirteen over course and distance last time out. A repeat performance can see him go well once again. Hot Property has only four runs under his belt and was not disgraced in his first handicap at Leicester last time out so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Pelham Cresent.
