In depth

Verdict

With the Turf course under water, all of this evening's action will take place on the all-weather track. UNDERSTORY (NAP) looks the obvious one in this opener as he's won three times over course and distance, all off higher marks. He's been thereabouts again lately and none of tonight's opposition have much to recommend them. Summerling returns from a lay-off while Clock On Tom ran poorly over hurdles last month. Megalala seems to be feeling his age and Fitzwilliam remains out of sorts, despite his stable's good form. Lettuce Snow remains winless, despite showing promise last year.
