Verdict

Persistence has placed over 1m2f and should have the edge on Nurse Nightingale on these terms though the latter went close over today’s distance at Newcastle last month and is preferred on that form. WARM OASIS and Soghan are closely matched on latest running over 1m4f at Kempton when the former came out just the best in second. But that was his first start since July and with further progress expected today, James Fanshawe’s charge is taken to confirm that form and open his account.
