      Verdict

Division one of the seven furlong maiden and DIALOGUE is given the vote to land it for the in-form yard of Mark Johnston. With many of the larger stables represented a close eye should be kept on the market for any clues but Cheam Forever, Emirates World, Mr Udagawa have all shown enough to suggest success in maiden company is within their capabilities. Dialogue, a son of Singspiel finished fourth last time in a smart maiden, the second being the exciting Cityscape while the third was not disgraced on unfavourably soft ground at Doncaster on Friday. The drop back to seven furlongs should not inconvenience Dialogue and a high draw will allow Joe Fanning to execute front running tactics here. Cheam Forever was noted doing his best work in the closing stages last time, the winner since landing a conditions event while Emirates World, who has many big race entries, was beaten in what looked an ordinary maiden for Newmarket standards on debut. That said, improvement should be in the offering but when asked to quicken he didn't show anything that would put him down as the type that can topple the likes of Dialogue who's maiden form is far more solid. A combination of soft ground and a mile appeared to be Mr Udagawa's undoing at Goodwood last time. King's Chorister is a first foal of the 2001 Irish Pretty Polly Stakes winner Chorist and any market support would make her of real interest while Antinori is another that is worth a check in the market. An interesting maiden and Dialogue is given the vote.
