Verdict

Pearl Blue edges this one at the weights but made a mess of a much easier chance at Southwell last time. That may have been down to the Fibresand surface and she may do better here but AMADEUS WOLFE TONE still looks a safer bet. The latter was placed in a decent handicap at Wolverhampton last time and can reverse earlier running on better terms with Stonefield Flyer. Angus Og is another dropping in class for this but has not raced since September while it's difficult to see any of the remainder getting involved today on such unfavourable terms.
