In depth

Verdict

Whispering Gypsy, bought for £38,000 after three runs in Ireland, will probably start favourite given connections but she wears headgear on her first start for Dan Skelton and may not be straightforward. Okhotsk finished ahead of CAROLE’S TZARINA and Millie Round here four weeks ago but Amy Murphy’s mare, who has a nice pedigree, was making her debut that day and staying on strongly in the closing stages so can reverse the form.
